Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and our commitment to privacy, you have the right
to
request deletion of your personal data from PostAI.sg. This page explains how to exercise this right.
⚠️ Important: Deleting your data will permanently remove your account, generated
content,
and all associated information. This action cannot be undone.
📋 What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request data deletion, we will remove:
- Account Information: Name, email, phone number, profile data
- Generated Content: All AI-generated posts, images, and videos
- Property URLs: Any URLs you've submitted for processing
- Usage Data: Analytics, login history, preferences
- Payment Information: Billing history and subscription details
- Support Communications: Help desk tickets and correspondence
🔄 Data Deletion Methods
Method 1: Self-Service Account Deletion
Steps:
- Log in to your PostAI.sg account
- Go to Settings → Account Management
- Scroll to "Delete Account" section
- Click "Request Account Deletion"
- Confirm by entering your password
- Receive confirmation email within 24 hours
Method 2: Email Request
Steps:
- Send email to: [email protected]
- Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
- Include: Your full name and registered email address
- State: "I request deletion of all my personal data"
- We'll respond within 3 business days
Method 3: WhatsApp Request
Steps:
- Message us on WhatsApp: +65 8801 9737
- Send: "I want to delete my PostAI.sg account and data"
- Provide your registered email address
- Follow verification instructions
- Receive confirmation within 24 hours
⏰ Deletion Timeline
- Immediate: Account access disabled
- 24 Hours: User-facing data removed from active systems
- 7 Days: Data removed from backup systems
- 30 Days: Complete deletion from all systems
📝 What We Cannot Delete
Some information may be retained for legal and business purposes:
- Legal Requirements: Data required by Singapore law (tax records, etc.)
- Financial Records: Payment history for accounting purposes (anonymized)
- Security Logs: Fraud prevention and security monitoring data
- Aggregated Analytics: Anonymous, non-identifiable usage statistics
This retained data will be anonymized and cannot be linked back to you personally.
🔄 Alternative Options
Before deleting your account, consider these alternatives:
- Pause Subscription: Keep account but stop billing
- Data Export: Download your data before deletion
- Downgrade: Switch to free tier instead of deleting
- Account Deactivation: Temporarily hide account without deletion
🔒 Verification Requirements
To protect your privacy, we require verification for deletion requests:
- Request must come from your registered email address
- Password confirmation for in-app deletions
- Phone verification may be required for high-value accounts
- Identity verification for disputed requests
🤝 Third-Party Data
Note that data shared with third parties may require separate deletion requests:
- Social Media Platforms: Posts you've published remain on those platforms
- Payment Processors: Contact your payment provider directly
- Analytics Providers: Aggregated data may persist in anonymized form
